Happy New Year 2025 from HBB! We are back with our illustrated signature program – celebration of Bangladesh Independence Day and HBB’s Annual Fundraising Gala Event, on 12 April 2025, Saturday evening at the grand Auditorium, Luther Burbank High School, 3500 Florin Road, Sacramento, CA 95823. 

We are excited to share updates about our upcoming celebration of Bangladesh Independence Day and HBB’s Annual Fundraising Gala Event with its full tradition.  We are proud to introduce a Bangladesh legend and one of the finest female playback singers with a melodious voice – the all-time popular Samina Chowdhury – making her first-ever appearance in Sacramento! 

HBB is inviting volunteers, participants, and performers from our community for this auspicious event. Please contact Sarah (530 601 3837) or Rima (916 752 4656) if your child wishes to perform. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for attending and making HBB’s Bangladesh Independence Day Celebration and Annual Fundraising Gala Event of last Saturday an EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS!  Our EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED in virtually all aspects of the event which was attended and enjoyed by more than 450 of you, despite adverse rainy weather!  We hope that you all, on site and remotely, enjoyed our unique Independence-Day themed cultural program.

WE ARE INSPIRED more than ever by your overwhelming support and trust for HBB’s activities and mission!  Our heartfelt appreciations to our VOLUNTEERS, DONORS, SPONSORS, PERFORMERS, PARTICIPANTS, BEHIND-THE-SCENE CREWS, WELL-WISHERS for your time, dedication, and unwavering support!  Months of tireless efforts by the HBB team of volunteers and performers came to its successful fruition with your gracious presence.
