COVID-19 Help to Breathe project
(Emergency Project)
HBB launched this emergency project to help critical hospital patients due to COVID-19 infection in the peak of the latest pandemic surge in Bangladesh. The target was to help at least 30 people directly/day.
Possible outcome: COVID patient will receive support to breathe (oxygen supply) during this crisis to save lives.

· Set of Oxygen supplies: trolly, concentrator, medical musk, canula, refill and Oxygen cylinder- per set 15000 BDT. Please see the figure 1.

Oxygen cylinders can continue for a patient 20-24 hours if its run continuously. After that cylinder needs to be refilled. In some cases, one cylinder can continue more depends on patient requirement. It will be ensured that, once the oxygen finish, cylinder will be refilled by the receptor Healthcare agency. It will also be ensured that the medical oxygen should be supplied with doctor’s prescription.

Cylinder Capacity: 1.4 Cubic Meter
One cylinder can be used for 20-24 hours continuously at 2 litre/minute. Doctor’s Prescription & Recommendation (for continuous use of medical oxygen).
