As we all are navigating through an
extraordinary time of distress due the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, Humanity
Beyond Barriers (HBB) would like to stand beside you at this time of this
unprecedented crisis. The facts, fictions, regulations, misinformation and
unknowns of this crisis are causing fear, panic and uncertainties in
communities, with sudden adverse impacts in every walk of life. We cannot
be just silent observers.
HBB IS TAKING A STAND: HBB is stepping up to help
individuals locally here as well as in Bangladesh during this fearful global
crisis. Pursuant to its mission to help the needy to its capacity, HBB
is granting some money from its reserve fund – a residual fund from your
past donations. YOUR MONEY IS AGAIN IN ACTION. The fund will
be used to provide meals for local seniors – the most vulnerable group to
COVID-19 and also to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) for health care
personnel including physicians in Bangladesh who are in dire need for PPE and
other lifesaving equipment.
IF YOU WISH TO JOIN: We understand that with our current capacity,
this amount to help is no match compared to what is needed in the
field. Therefore, we are open to anyone wishing to extend their hands to make a
donation and joining HBB’s effort to fight the COVID-19 crisis to save lives.
HBB has Zakat fund provision if you want to donate your zakat
here to help. Here is how TO DONATE – 1. Online by credit
card via Paypal. Please mention COVID-19 fight in the note (or,
HBB Project #: ND032220). 2. Check – payable to HBB [Memo; COVID-19 fight]
or call any of us with your pledges to manage ASAP. Your donation to
HBB is tax deductible.
In the meantime, our true appreciation and
wholehearted wish for our community professionals and service personnel who are
bravely serving us in the health, food and other critical essential areas of
life. To all of you and your family, please be safe while all of us are
coordinating to slow the spread of COVID-19 here in California. Few resources
