Urgent appeal to help Camp Fire Victims

Urgent appeal to help Camp Fire Victims

The deadliest and most destructive wildfires in the history of the state of California that erupted earlier this month impacted us all across the state and are still burning.  Our hearts go out to the direct victims of these devastation.  The city of Paradise near us, was virtually razed to the ground with enormous loss of lives and structures.  We have been helplessly watching the catastrophe of this relentless burning impacting air quality to a dangerous level over the vast areas of California including ours.

Survivors of these wildfires face an obvious humanitarian crisis and long term displacement. Humanity Beyond Barriers (HBB) – your local humanitarian organization, came forward to help with your support.  Please click here to learn more about how HBB has initiated a fund drive from our community for the Camp Fire victims of northern California. HBB will donate a matching amount within its capacity once the fund from this community drive is collected.  All donations to HBB are tax deductible per US IRS regulations.

To donate cash or gift cards to HBB, please contact any of the Camp Fire Fund Drive volunteers (see contact list below). You may also payTo help, you can either “pledge” or “donate” through Paypal here.

Regardless of whether you pledge or donate, you can ask for a donation match if you are an Intel employee. To do so, please donate through Benevity here and enter “Camp Fire” in the comment section. Please select “HUMANITY BEYOND BARRIERS INC” when donating through Benevity to ensure that we get your donation.

Your donation to HBB may be tax-deductible as per IRS regulations.
